Community Leadership:

Florida Jaycees - significant involvement in leadership including President of local chapter and regional district. Treasurer of Florida Jaycees wherein developed a plan to resolve large scale delinquency filings by chapters nationwide in conjunction with IRS, in the not-for-profit and charitable areas.

Significant involvement in the Florida Institute of CPA’s (FICPA) up to and including serving as local Chapter and State President. Served on many statewide and National (AICPA) committees and as lobbyist for FICPA.

Published in Wall Street Journal, AICPA’s “Journal of Accountancy”, FICPA’s “Florida CPA Today”.

Served as board member, chair and in various leadership capacities for numerous non-profit, charitable and government organizations including:

United Way, FICPA Educational Foundation, Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce, Advent Lutheran School Board, Delray Dunes Golf Club, Palm Beach County Budget Oversight Board, PBC Sports Commission, PBC Parks and Recreation Golf Committee, PBC Impact Fee Appeals Board, PBC Educational Facilities Authority.

First person ever awarded FAU Outstanding Accounting Alumni Award, and was also inducted into FAU’s Hall of Fame.
